Happy Rakhi!

Dear foodies,

Happy Rakhi

to a bond that can only grow stronger...

P.S: I caught the crocheting bug from Nupur and am close to finishing my first bag. I used yarn and the left over threads from this project to make the Rakhi!

notyet100 thank you, he did :)

Nupur, the idea came up from a mistake I made while crocheting the bag :D Disbelief, that was his reaction. But I take that as a compliment :)

Shilpa,thank you!

Anon, thank you, it took me a while and a couple of trials to get the logistics right :)

Arundati, he did, yayyy! and I was wondering why I did not think of it last year too :D

Usha, I am glad I got in on time :)

Anita, I was totally thrilled :D I could not wait for it to reach him :))It felt so good, especially when I was telling him I made it while he had no clue it was handmade and not store bought.

Bee, gardening and the DIY lights are next. With my parents here this summer and the frequent weekend trips my plants would not survive :(
But, the pest control did catch a mouse in my apt fireplace :(
