I tend to use English names of the ingredients I list in my recipes. But even I learnt a few of them only after starting this blog, the Telugu or Tamil name was what I've been familiar with all along. So this page will act as a bridge/translator. I will try and list as many ingredients as I can in English, Telugu, Tamil & Hindi.

The word for Tomato in Telugu is quite similar to the Tamil word, it's 'Tattili Pandu/kaya', but no one uses it as much. Of course, Cashew is 'Jeedi pappu'. :D
